Arthur Machinery-Florida Offers Additional Memory for CNC Machines
Tampa, Florida: Many CNC machines have limited memory capability; therefore running lengthy programs becomes a problem. The Calmotion USBCNC disk reader acts as an interface between commercially available USB flash memory and any CNC control with a RS-232 port. Machine tool files can be sent from CNC memory to the USB key, USB key to CNC memory or "drip fed" (DNC) from the USB key.
Flexible DNC firmware is built into the USBCNC unit, allowing connection to just about any machine tool CNC control. No hardware or software upgrades are required on the machine. The Universal USBCNC controller is easily adaptable for CNC's with a serial port. (Fanuc, Fadal, Haas, Siemens….) The unit can be "portable" for use on multiple machines, or built into the machine pendant of the CNC machine.
Lengthy mold machining programs and horizontal machining center programs are two ideal applications requiring additional memory. The USBCNC controller is an affordable feature, far less than purchasing additional memory from the manufacturer.
