Arizona-Based PCB Assembly House Acquires Second PYRAMAX(TM) Oven from BTU International

NORTH BILLERICA, Mass. – BTU International, Inc., announces that Tempe, AZ-based GMA Manufacturing LLC has acquired its second PYRAMAX™100A as part of its expansion. The company recently relocated and expanded its facility, and the second PYRAMAX 100A will assist GMA in its efforts to deliver exceptional manufacturing and its continued growth.

BTU is a leading supplier of advanced thermal processing equipment for the electronics and alternative energy manufacturing markets. BTU furnaces provide the ability to transfer recipes across lines without the need to re-profile, a critical factor in GMA’s decision to purchase the 100A due to the company’s quick-turn, flexible business model.

“Since the installation of BTU’s PYRAMAX 100A, our oven-to-oven repeatability over months of operation has not changed,” commented Gary Abramczyk, GMA’s Vice President, Operations. “Temperature uniformity within the furnaces remains consistent over time and no other furnace supplier could offer this performance or ability to transfer recipes line-to-line. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to once again partner with BTU.”
