ARINC Managed Services Delivers Strategic Installation and Maintenance at Dubai International


Annapolis, Maryland, USA, December 18, 2007-ARINC Managed Services (AMS), a leading provider of operations, maintenance, and staffing support for airports worldwide, today announced it has begun strategic IT installation and maintenance services at Dubai International Airport, in support of the major terminal expansion currently under way.

AMS began installation work last month and has already added to its staff in Dubai. The company was awarded the work under an ongoing technology contract between ARINC Incorporated and Dubai International. AMS will provide installation, testing and 24x7 maintenance for seven state-of-the-art IT systems at the airport's existing Terminals 1, 2, and Concourse 1, and in the airport's new Terminal 3 and Concourse 2.

One of the fastest-growing airports in the world, Dubai International has a goal to handle 60 million passengers annually by 2010. Its expansion and renovation program features innovative terminal design and several of the most advanced IT systems available, including an airport operational database (AirDB(TM)), resource management system (AirPlan(TM)), and flight information display system (AirVUE(TM)) with 1,400 screens. Also included are a building integration system, management information system, eight-language digital public address system, and airport-wide secure data network.
