Beta Lighting Launches Aviator

STURTEVANT, WI - Beta Lighting announces its Aviator Area Lighting series of architectural luminaries. Elegant, yet versatile, the Aviator provides excellent performance designed into a sophisticated, sleek airfoil form.

Aviator is available in a segmented Type III and Type IV optic and meets full IESNA cutoff classification. The housing is a rugged one-piece die-cast aluminum casting with integrated mounting arm. Two housing sizes are offered: a 400-watt version measuring 18.5 inches wide by 19.6 inches deep and a 175-watt version measuring 14.4 inches wide and 15.4 inches deep. In either size, the luminaries can be mounted in multiples of up to four on a single pole with no special mounting hardware.

The versatile Aviator provides five mounting choices, including a direct mount to square or round pole (with available round pole adaptor), upsweep extended arm, straight extended arm, wall or tenon mount (with available tenon adaptor). Aviator is also available as an uplight for damp locations. Multiples of up to four Aviators can be mounted on a single square pole.

The Aviator's exclusive DeltaGuard® paint finish is available in standard bronze or optional black, white, verde, silver or platinum bronze. All are covered by a 7-year warranty.

Aviator incorporates long-term features and benefits into its design. A high-temperature silicone foam-in-place gasket is robotically-applied to the lens frame door to ensure a weather- and insect-tight seal. The door's patented internal hinge frame assembly and proprietary lens latching system offers quick and easy access to the lamp, ballast and optical system without tools. The one-piece, field-replaceable electrical component tray is a quick-disconnect design for ease of installation and long-term serviceability.

Aviator accessories include round pole adaptor, tenon adaptor, wall mount adaptor and backlight shield, while quartz, fusing and photocell control are factory options.
