Architectural Mesh features circular patterns.

Press Release Summary:

Unlike circle patterns created by perforated metal, Circle Mesh woven metal fabric delivers optimized sustainability and visual characteristics while producing minimal scrap. Circle Mesh is woven with same wire as traditional architectural mesh, but is instead crimped by spiral machine around fixed point. Since fixed point is adjustable, process allows for different sizes and different percentages of open area. Finished wires are then woven together by loom operator, creating final pattern.

Banker Wire Unveils Circle Mesh -Architectural Mesh Now Features Circular Patterns - a Breakthrough in Woven Metal Fabrication

After more than a year of development, Banker Wire has successfully created the first-ever woven metal fabric with circular patterns. Circle Mesh applies the durability, versatility and aesthetic appeal of architectural mesh to new circular weaves that have never been seen before.

Circle Mesh far surpasses circle patterns created by perforated metal, delivering industry-leading quality, sustainability and visual characteristics in an entirely new design package. Additionally, the weaving process of architectural mesh produces very little scrap, compared to the process of perforating metal.

“At Banker Wire, we thrive on constantly researching and developing our material,” says Michelle Eastburn, Product Engineering Manager for Banker Wire. “Circle Mesh is one of the most important innovations in the history of our company, and we are excited to provide the design community with even more choices and less limitations.”

Circle Mesh is woven with the same wire as traditional architectural mesh, but is instead crimped by a spiral machine around a fixed point. The fixed point is adjustable, allowing for different sizes and therefore different percentages of open area. The finished wires are then woven together by a loom operator, creating the final pattern.

“The development of Circle Mesh really captures the essence of Banker Wire,” said Harrison Horan, Vice President of Banker Wire. “We pioneer new forms of architectural mesh by taking the time to experiment and do things no one else can do.”
