New Electrode's Stable Arc Reduces Burn-Through



Fort Loramie, OH –Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced a premium metal cored, ferritic stainless steel electrode designed to deliver faster travel speeds while reducing burn-through.



Select 430LCb-Mod features an extremely stable arc that produces faster travel speeds with less burn-through and spatter to enhance productivity. It handles poor fit-up and gaps, is easier to weld than solid wire and allows thinner materials to be welded more readily. The higher chrome content combined with stabilization from niobium and titanium provides similar heat and corrosion resistance to the base materials which are welded.



Available in .045”, .052”, and 1/16” diameters, Select 430LCb-Mod is utilized for welding heat resistant, corrosion resistant, ferritic stainless steels used in exhaust system parts including manifolds, mufflers, converters and tubular components of automotive exhaust systems made of 430 grade materials..
