Mid-Size Spray Applicator Head
Spraymation, Inc. offers informative new literature describing the new Mid-Size Electromatic XXXIV, External Air Atomizing Applicator Head Series for applying precise sprayed patterns of adhesives and other similar fluids, which can vary from 1/4 inch diameter to a fan 12 inches wide. The size of new Mid-Size Electromatic XXXIV, is 70% of the standard head, designed specifically for areas where light weight and small size, coupled with high speed, trouble free operation, is important.
The applicator head is intended for use with cold adhesives, coatings, fragrances, silicones, marking inks, water, lubricants, and other similar fluids, producing a spray pattern ranging from a fine mist to a heavy wet coat by mixing air and fluid as it leaves the spray head. Applications which may find its use advantageous include packaging, product assembly, nonwoven, carton and paperboard manufacturing, product marking, and more.
All wetted parts are stainless steel with only one moving part containing no seals or packings to wear or inhibit its movement, providing high speed, drip free operation with minimal maintenance.
The applicator weighs 21 ounces, operates at low air pressure which minimizes overspray, and allows coating to fragile webs. The internal 24 VDC or 120 VAC solenoid coil eliminates the need for any additional valves, and it may be operated by user provided equipment such as a PLC or a variety of Pattern Controllers available from Spraymation. The fluid may be supplied by a pump or pressure tank.
