New MotionObjects ActiveX Control Software
ORMEC's ServoWire SM now offers a MotionObjects ActiveX Control to speed software development using Visual Basic. The combination of MotionObjects and ServoWire SM "soft motion" drives reduces system costs and complexity by eliminating the need for motion control boards.
MotionObjects for ActiveX Control is a software development kit for developing ServoWire SM applications in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0, VB.NET or other programs that act as an ActiveX container. The MotionObjects ActiveX control offers object-oriented tools for motion control programming, a Soft Motion Engine and tools for software connectivity between a host PC running Windows NT/2000/XP, VenturCom RTX, standard FireWire (OHCI) adapters & ServoWire SM drives.
ORMEC's MotionObjects Class Library and ActiveX Control provide "software building blocks" by integrating motion control into the Microsoft C/C++ and Visual Basic programming languages. This allows programmers to develop software in a single, standard language using Microsoft Visual Studio, while preserving the base of application programming customers have already developed.
