Chi Mei Optoelectronics Marks New Step Forward in Application and Medical Display Panels with New Product Debut at electronica 2006 in Munich
MUNICH, Germany, Nov. 13 -- Chi Mei Optoelectronics (CMO), the global leader in LCD panels, will be displaying a full line of application panels and medical display panels, with sizes ranging from 7-inch to 56-inch, at electronica 2006 from November 14-17 in Munich. These new application-specific products herald CMO's new commitment to developing related markets. CMO believes that with the comprehensive product line and superb technology, the company will be able to satisfy the needs of clients from many different application fields.
CMO's application product line -- named IAAV -- includes applications for industry, amusement, avionics, and vehicles. Medical display panels boast full range of specifications, offering resolutions ranging from 1 to 8 mega- pixels. CMO is currently the world's No. 1 brand for medical LCD panels.
CMO's IAAV product line is setting higher standards in the industry, boasting features such as usability over a wide temperature range, a wide viewing angle, high contrast, fast response time, and RoHS compliance. CMO's 10.4-inch panel slated for display at electronica 2006 can be used in temperatures as low as -20°C and as high as 70°C, scores 400 nits for brightness, super wide viewing angle (88°/88°/88°/88°) and has a response time of 25 milliseconds.
