Ringdale Extends ModuLAN® Line with Document Scan to E-Mail or Fax Appliance



AUSTIN, Texas, December 12 - DocuSender(TM) Enables a Scanner to E-Mail and Fax Without Using a PC.

Ringdale, Inc., a technology leader in network enhancing connectivity solutions, today announced the availability of the ModuLAN® DocuSender(TM)- a document scan to e-mail or fax appliance. This unique device works with popular USB-based scanners to provide scan to e-mail or scan to fax functionality, without the need for a PC.

The compact DocuSender connects directly to an Ethernet network, a phone line using Ringdale's PCMCIA modem technology and a compatible scanner. The user scans the document to an e-mail address or fax number using DocuSender's touch panel keypad with digital display.

DocuSender is the newest product in Ringdale's line of modular devices aimed at organizations moving toward a paperless office. It compliments the ModuLAN FaxReceiver(TM), which converts incoming faxes into e-mails and sends them directly to an inbox without using a PC.

Up to two readers can connect to DocuSender at one time.

Visioneer® 9750 PDF, 9650 and 9450; Visioneer Patriot® series 780, 680, 470 and 430; Xerox® DocuMate® series 632, 520, 272 and 152; and Fujitsu® fi-5220C and fi-5015C.
