APM's Patented Trigger Improves Booted Breaker Operation
APM's boots not only protect one, two and three pole circuit breakers from environmental attack, but also can lend a hand in making it easier to reset and turn on the circuit breaker.
To achieve the necessary muscle (leverage) to get the job done right, APM designed their "Trigger" arm, strategically located inside the silicone rubber seal's canopy (dome). As a result, the user can now easily and positively reset and turn on the breaker and has the confidence of knowing that a positive reset positioning event has occurred.
This important patented feature is available on a number of APM standard sealing boots (see CT & HT Series) - matched to many of the most popular breaker manufacturer models. The "Trigger" feature is also available on custom design configurations.
