API's National Hybrid Announces Product Design Win for New Commercial Airliner

NEW YORK, API Nanotronics, Corp. (OTCBB: APIO) ("API") (the "Company") a leading supplier of electronic components to the defense, aerospace and communications sectors, is pleased to announce that its National Hybrid division has secured orders to supply a proprietary hybrid circuit for a new state-of-the-art commercial airliner.

The High Voltage Power Hybrid Module is a critical component of the aircraft's braking system. This module has been developed based on proprietary, patented National Hybrid packaging technology. The Hi Power "6 PAK" contains six, 600V, 30A IGBTs and six, 600V, 15A hi speed rectifiers configured as a three-phase motor drive. The National Hybrid packaging technology allows the product to meet the harsh environmental requirements of this application and still maintain the proper thermal management necessary for safe operation of power hybrid microcircuits.

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and CEO of API, stated, "This is a significant design win for our company. The patented technology utilized to develop this circuit is easily customized to different configurations for other high reliability applications. This opens new markets for National Hybrid's patented power hybrid technology."
