Announcing the World's Smallest Gaging Transducer
The IET, built-in transducer, has a size of only 5x5x15mm with measuring ranges of +/- 0.2 and +/- 0.4 mm. Direct measurement of both deep and shallow bores, grooves, and a host of other difficult gaging applications are now possible because of it's ultra compact size.
The transducer is composed of a basic body equipped with a coil system and spring-loaded rocker carrying the sensing element. The design of the rocker offers a great variety of measuring capabilities. The sensing elements range from hard metal over ruby and silicium nitride to silicium carbide. It is free from mechanical friction and hysteresis making it suitable for highly dynamic measuring tasks.
Use this tiny workhorse to solve your toughest gaging problems; simplifying situations thought to be impossibly complicated in the past. The IET is available as a stand-alone element or complete design and build service.
