Anite Awarded Contract for Multiple Benchmarking Solutions for CONATEL, the Paraguayan National Telecommunications Commission


OULU, Finland, – Anite, a global leader in wireless network testing technology, today announced that it has been selected to provide benchmarking solutions to CONATEL, the Paraguayan National Telecommunications Commission, for their national wireless quality measurement campaigns. The deliverables include products, training and technical support. Local installation and support for the project will be provided by Anite's partner, Lexa Ingenieria.



CONATEL will use Anite's Nemo benchmarking solutions to perform quality of service measurements of the different mobile operators' wireless networks in Paraguay. Measurements will be done in all wireless access technologies: GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA and LTE in different regions of the country. The work includes data collection and processing as well as analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of the results. The delivered solution is composed of Nemo Invex units with Nemo FSR1 scanners installed in vehicles for outdoor benchmarking, Nemo Walker Air units for indoor benchmarking measurements, and Nemo Analyze for post-processing. The setup enables simultaneous measurements with up to 24 devices and one scanner.
