Like their customers, Angstrom engineers have to keep a keen eye on the future, and in the interest of fostering vision, the team recently accessed high-tech equipment to view, and literally step inside, 3D CAD models in full scale virtual reality. Besides being an extremely cool experience, this process allowed the team to analyze the scale of a custom machine and to better visualize how the components of the design would fit together, before machining even began.
