Lyndex-Nikken Expands Line of Angleheads(TM), and Further Expands Machine Tool Capabilities
Mundelein, IL -(August 31, 2006) Lyndex-Nikken has introduced a new line of AngleHeads to provide increased machine tool capabilities. These new precision tools are designed for use with today's high performance machining centers.
Lyndex-Nikken's new line boasts highly precise bearing technology, featuring high quality spindles and taper roller bearings. Specially optimized gears result in smooth running, while lifetime lubrication of the bearings ensures low maintenance. Labyrinth seals protect the bearings from dirt and coolant penetration.
These AngleHeads are recognized for their high torque transmission, rigidity and high RPMs. Concentricity and facing accuracy is less than 5µ, and internal coolant supply is up to 70 bar.
This new line is available in straight and offset units with internal or external coolant. Single- or multi-spindle types, as well as a quick-change version, are offered.
