Plexus IS Launches a Complete Intraoperative Anesthesia Record and Integrated Scheduler Solution for Office-Based Anesthesia Providers
This complete office-based anesthesia solution provides clinicians with a scheduling system, anesthesia EMR on the iPad and streaming physiologic data.
BOSTON -- Plexus Information Systems, Inc. (Plexus IS), a market-leading provider of Anesthesia Information Management Systems (AIMS), announces the rollout of its office-based anesthesia product that includes a complete anesthesia EMR with an integrated scheduling application. This latest product offering specifically benefits office-based anesthesia providers by streamlining their workflow and enabling them to manage their information from multiple locations, utilizing a cloud-based solution.
Using the Scheduler application, anesthesia clinicians manage their daily schedule, as well as electronically capture patient information, such as demographics, health history, allergies, medications, insurance and health problems, all in advance of surgery. The surgery schedule and patient information automatically populates the anesthesia EMR, Anesthesia Touch(TM), on the iPad. Then as the clinician updates the preoperative patient information from Anesthesia Touch on the day of surgery, the scheduler application is immediately updated.
In addition, clinicians will improve efficiency by automatically capturing physiologic data from the patient monitors and generating a complete and accurate electronic intraoperative anesthesia record.
