Anaren Offers New Xinger® Brand 0404 Balun Components for Use in Consumer Wireless Applications
SYRACUSE, N.Y., Nov. 18 / -- Anaren, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANEN) today announced the availability of new Xinger (R) brand 0404 baluns for use in a wide range of consumer wireless products such as handsets, wireless LAN cards, Bluetooth(R) devices and other applications requiring compact footprints and superior RF performance. These balanced to unbalanced transformers compliment the existing line of 0805 and 0603 devices with models covering 2400 to 5900 MHz, that are optimized for major consumer bands, including MIMO, Bluetooth(R), WiMax, Zigbee, and 802.11 a, b, and g.
"Anaren's new baluns offer designers a very high performance, small .04 x.04 inch (1mm x 1mm) form factor alternative to traditional balun products," says Mark Bowyer, Manager of Corporate Business Development. "These baluns additionally offer low insertion loss, high return loss, and feature a very small physical profile for increased flexibility in board layout and a better overall fit to meet the demands of today's miniaturized wireless products, all at a competitive cost," added Bowyer. The 0404 line-up also offers a fine pin pitch of 0.02 inch (0.5mm) which compliments typical integrated circuit pin spacing, and a land grid array (LGA) pad configuration that requires no additional PWB space for the solder land pads.
