EDAX Launches Improved And Enhanced Genesis Version 1.1 Software
Mahwah, NJ - EDAX Inc. a leader in X-ray microanalysis, X-ray fluorescence and electron diffraction instrumentation, has introduced the next generation of its GENESIS EDS Microanalysis software
"The new version 1.1 GENESIS software that will be shown at Pittcon 2002 includes many new features and enhancements," explains Del Redfern, EDS Microanalysis Product Manager for EDAX. "Among the many new features are Live Spectral Mapping (can also generate maps from collected data), drift corrections for mapping and an electronic signature module, including audit trails and authorization approvals."
"GENESIS is the leading X-ray microanalysis software program, and many of the new features and enhancements of existing features results from the positive feedback we received from current users of the GENESIS program," notes Redfern.
"We are delighted to receive ideas on how to improve our products. The enhancements from our Particle / Phase analysis software found in Version 1.1 resulted from discussions with our customer base. We aim to launch a new version of GENESIS approximately every six months, improving on what we have and offering new features," Redfem adds.
