Control unit, DR9050, interfaces to Modbus RTU RS485 network and allows user's ModbusÂ® Controller to access 1-247 remote units (DR9051), which are available with dual 4-20 mA inputs, RTD input, or strain gauge input. Wireless Analog and Switch Data Acquisition Products Offer Modbus® RTU Protocol with 1 to 247 Remote Units and Line of Sight Ranges to 20 Miles
One DR9050 control unit interfaces to a standard Modbus RTU RS485 network and allows the user's Modbus® Controller to access from 1 to 247 remote units. Each of the remote units use 1 of the 247 possible addresses allowed by Modbus® protocol.
The DR9051 remote unit is available with dual 4/20mA inputs, RTD input, or strain gauge input. The strain gauge input also provides 10V excitation for 4 bridges in parallel. Each DR9051 also has 4 discrete inputs for monitoring switch status.
The RF connection can be 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz. Both RF systems use spread spectrum frequency hopping technology which allows multiple systems in close proximity.
The 900 MHz RF link can provide reliable communications over line of sight distances to 20 miles.
