Will Sell and Fabricate All Five Varieties of the High Temperature Insulation
PERRYOPOLIS, PA - Advanced Material Science (AMS) announced that it is a preferred supplier of Super Firetemp® high temperature insulation, making all five types available to customers for custom-fabricated applications. AMS had previously sold Super Firetemp L and M to its clients, but now offers types H, X and S.
"It's a great product, and we're excited to make the entire line of Super Firetemp available to our customers," said Eric Ganster, Sales Director at AMS. "As our business grows, it's essential that we expand our inventory and capabilities to meet demand. And customers increasingly request Super Firetemp."
Manufactured by Industrial Insulation Group, Super Firetemp is an inorganic, noncombustible insulation material composed primarily of silica, lime and reinforcing fibers, with heat capacities up to 1800°F. It is typically used in industrial ovens, furnaces, platen presses and fire-proof structural support applications.
