Falco Systems Presents WMA-280 Ultra-Low Noise High Voltage Amplifier

Falco Systems presents the WMA-280 amplifier, modeled after the successful WMA-300 high speed, high voltage amplifier introduced in 2007. The WMA-280 is an ultra-low noise, precision, high voltage laboratory amplifier for demanding applications. Its extreme voltage precision (20.0x amplification ±0.1%), ultra-low output noise (300 microVolt rms) and large voltage range (-150 to +150V) make it an excellent choice for measurements where high precision is important. The bandwidth is of the amplifier is DC - 100kHz. It can be used for precise positioning of MEMS devices (micromachines), with EO-modulators, as piezo driver, beam steering components, ultrasonics, and many more.

The offset and noise specifications of this amplifier are such that, with typical electrostatically actuated MEMS and piezo positioners, sub-atomic positioning accuracy can be achieved easily. The competitive price makes this amplifier also a good candidate for many measurements where the extreme precision the WMA-280 is not so important. For this purpose, the amplifier can be used both differentially (for lowest interference) and with its standard BNC input connector, so that it can be easily interfaced with all common voltage sources and generators.
