FEMTO High Speed Current Amplifier

FEMTO introduces the new high speed current (transimpedance) amplifier HCA-400M-5K-C for frequencies from DC up to 400 MHz. This new addition to the FEMTO product portfolio has a gain of 5 x 10² V/A. The minimum rise / fall time is 1 ns. The HCA-400M-5K-C has very low pulse distortion with almost no overshoot or ringing. It comes in a miniaturized and rugged aluminum housing which is designed to optimize EMI shielding. The small size lets you get the amplifier close to the detector, minimizing noise from long detector leads.

It is the ideal tool for amplification of small currents generated by high impedance sources, such as photodiodes, PMTs, ionization and particle detectors. Typical applications include spectroscopy, particle detection, fast current and resistance measurements, general lab use and front end for ultrafast lock-in amplifiers, oscilloscopes and A/D converters.

FEMTO manufactures a line of high quality specialty amplifiers for signal recovery and processing. These products include Low Noise Current Amplifiers, High and Low Frequency Voltage Amplifiers, Photoreceivers, High Speed GHz Amplifiers and Lock-In Amplifiers.
