AMETEK AMERON Receives FAA-PMA Approval on Housing Assembly Sensor

Baldwin Park, CA – AMERON MASS Systems, a pioneer in the development of high-performance aerospace and defense components, has received FAA-PMA approval on its housing assembly sensor, part number M33370101-2.

The housing assembly sensor is designed to be a direct replacement alternative to OEM component, part number 33370101-2, and is used on Fire Extinguisher Container Assembly part number 30300020 on board multiple aircraft types. The part is identical to the OEM component in fit, form and function. It is comprised of a housing, a plug (split bushing), a sensor and two lead wires with terminals. The housing and plug are made of aluminum alloy. One end of the lead wires is connected to the sensor while the other ends are connected to a ring terminal and a single circuit plug.

MASS Systems, the OEM division of AMETEK AMERON, specializes in FAA-PMA components for high-rate discharge fire extinguishing and oxygen systems. These components are developed, manufactured and assembled by MASS Systems at its Baldwin Park facility, located in California.
