AmbironTrustWave Announces the Release of TrustKeeper 2.0

CHICAGO, Dec. 1 /-- AmbironTrustWave, a leading information security and compliance services firm, has announced the release of the latest version of its TrustKeeper compliance management web-based portal, with multiple language capability to serve Asian and European markets.

As the leading portal for businesses in the payment card industry, TrustKeeper provides service to more than 30,000 merchants throughout the world, enabling them to validate their compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. More acquiring banks and service providers have selected TrustKeeper as their compliance management portal of choice for their merchant populations than any other compliance portal on the market.

TrustKeeper 2.0 incorporates several new features to enhance the user experience, specifically:

Additional Language Capability:

The following languages have been added to TrustKeeper and are supported by AmbironTrustWave's multi-lingual help desk:

-- Chinese
-- French
-- Spanish

Additional Currency Acceptance:

TrustKeeper has the capability to accept payments in foreign currency including:

-- Dollar (Canada)
-- Euro (European Union)
-- Krona (Sweden)
-- Pound Sterling (United Kingdom)

"As our business becomes more diverse -- culturally, geographically and vertically -- we will accommodate our clients in every manner possible," said Robert J. McCullen, CEO of AmbironTrustWave. "The addition of multi-lingual capability will enable us to better serve our merchants, acquirers and service providers in every market in which they conduct commerce."

Additional features of TrustKeeper 2.0 include:

Intelligent Registration

An "intelligent" registration feature has been added to help PCI Level 4 merchants -- those accepting less than 20,000 annual e-commerce transactions of a single card brand -- register for PCI compliance services in a quick and efficient manner. This new registration feature captures IT and transaction acceptance information from the merchant during the registration process, and based on the information provided by the merchant, pre-populates a portion of the industry-approved PCI questionnaire. The intelligent registration feature enables merchants to complete only PCI questions that are relevant to their transaction-accepting environment.

For example, a dial-up merchant that does not have externally-facing IP addresses would have the answers to questions about vulnerability scanning automatically completed in the PCI questionnaire.

Trusted Commerce(SM)

TrustKeeper 2.0 also features the new AmbironTrustWave Trusted Commerce(SM) seal, which enables merchants to showcase their PCI compliance to consumers by placing the Trusted Commerce logo on their website.

Unlike other marks that indicate compliance with a single security standard such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL), Trusted Commerce measures compliance with all 12 standards of PCI. Successful completion of the PCI online questionnaire and regular vulnerability scanning for more than 3,000 known vulnerabilities are the minimum services required to validate compliance with PCI. Once a merchant has enrolled in TrustKeeper and completed the requirements, they are eligible to receive the Trusted Commerce seal.

"Trusted Commerce indicates that a merchant has taken the necessary steps to protect order-related information such as credit card numbers and is an important indicator for consumers -- especially during the busy online holiday shopping season. Thousands of TrustKeeper users have deployed the Trusted Commerce seal including several large retailers," added McCullen.

Consumers who click on the Trusted Commerce logo on a merchant's website will be able to view the certificate that provides specific details of the compliance status of that merchant, including the most recent date of PCI compliance validation. In the first two weeks of November alone, there were approximately six million views of the Trusted Commerce seal on merchant websites.
