AMA Laboratories, Inc is now offering its clients a new, proprietary, type of scientific photography called PhotoGrammetrix. The system developed at AMA provides a continuous, carefully controlled series of scientifically matched, high resolution digital photographs taken chronologically during the course of an actual clinical study. The study, naturally, is designed to demonstrate efficacy as well as provide documentation and claim support for the clients' products. All of the photographic variables, i.e. colour standards, white balance, lighting, etc are kept constant throughout the course of the study. PhotoGrammetrix includes a trained observer evaluating and scoring our subjects and all results are supported by instrumental/ biophysical measurements. AMA is using PhotoGrammetrix to evaluate a wide range of cosmetic products used to treat topical conditions from Acne to Warts.
