Pink Aluminum Oxide Products Ideal for Steel Applications Now Available From Camel Grinding Wheels, USA
NILES, ILL. - NOVEMBER 2004 - A new line of pink aluminum oxide products is now available from Camel Grinding Wheels, USA, a leading manufacturer of grinding wheels, flaps discs and other grinding materials.
Made for general tool room applications, pink aluminum oxide grinding wheels contain .03 percent chromium oxide making the pink aluminum grain tougher, but still friable, compared to white aluminum oxide grains. Pink aluminum oxide wheels are available in 60 products including 4" to 5" cup wheels and 7" to 14" tool room wheels.
Pink aluminum oxide wheels are best suited for high alloy steel applications. Because it is tougher than white aluminum grain, pink aluminum products are ideal for tool sharpening such as high speed steel cutters, reamers, chisels, end mills and sharpening band saw blades. On these and other tool applications, pink aluminum wheels provide a cooler grind and avoid the familiar burning on the edges of tools.
