Founded in 1985 by the father and son team of Grover and Steve Ahmann, Pacific Power Batteries began selling commercial truck and heavy equipment batteries to logging and construction companies, local municipalities and branches of the US Military. They have since grown to six stores, and now sell AGM marine and RV batteries, batteries for alarm systems, emergency power UPS (uninterrupted power supply) systems, and larger telephone systems. Unlike an AC generator paired with a slow plug-in charger, ALTEN Battery Chargers are a fast and highly efficient way of charging 12, 24 and 48 volt battery configurations. Our lineup of gas and diesel powered battery chargers range in size from our smallest gas-sipping 12 volt, 55 amp G12/55 model to our 48 volt, 75 amp Duke75 model. As a result ALTEN Battery Chargers can provide 140 amp-hours to 18,000 amp-hours on a single tank of gas, depending on the voltage model.
