DUSSELDORF, Germany, March 15 // -- ALPHA COM Group announced today that it has integrated the eBilling Signature Solution of Authentidate Deutschland GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of worldwide secure enterprise workflow management application provider Authentidate Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:ADAT), with its new outsourced eBilling service.
The new outsourced eBilling service will digitally send and receive invoices on behalf of ALPHA COM Group customers through an Authentidate Deutschland GmbH eBilling Signature Solution.
Specifically, Authentidate's eBilling Signature Solution enables centralized application of qualified signatures to a user's electronic invoice generation process to permit development of a large volume of electronic invoices and is available as a hosted application or through network installation.
"Authentidate's software is the most efficient in the market and meets all of the technological, tax and legal requirements to process electronic invoices," explains Thomas Hellmig, sales manager at ALPHA COM Deutschland GmbH. "We can now offer our customers a real alternative to the paper-based invoicing process with this new solution."
Hellmig continued, "Companies that want to implement cost-saving techniques -- while improving the efficiency and processes in their accounting department -- will have say goodbye to paper invoices sooner or later. That is why our customers aren't just asking about the automated receipt of paper invoices, but are also increasingly asking us for eBilling services to send out their own invoices electronically."
Jan C. E. Wendenburg, CEO of Authentidate International AG, the parent company of Authentidate Deutschland GmbH, stated, "By layering our eBilling Signature Solution on top of their existing eBilling service, ALPHA COM customers now have the option to easily transition to a fully electronic invoicing process. Because the new system requires no additional internal efforts and is compliant with the electronic signature and archive compliance laws for all EU member states, this new system is one of few in Germany that offer such a complete range of services."
ALPHA COM will launch its expanded eBilling offering as an outsourced service at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, March 15 - 21, 2006.
