All-Air Web Guides for Wider Webs, Higher Tensions

The CD Series web guides are custom engineered heavy-duty systems for wider webs that typically run with higher tension.

(Sarasota, FL.) - The all-air CD Series web guides from Coast Controls are custom engineered to meet the web handling demands of wider webs and higher web tensions. Featuring heavy-duty welded steel construction, the CD Series employ a robust pivoting web guide assembly with dual cam-follower bearing assemblies to ensure smooth, dependable steering action. High-performance, 3 to 6-inch diameter aluminum idlers handle web widths from 30 to 130 inches. Additional idlers can also be specified. As with all Coast Controls web guides, CD Series edge detectors and controls are powered entirely by low-pressure, plant-supplied air (3 to 6 psi) and are intrinsically explosion-proof. Self-cleaning pneumatic edge detectors are highly effective with both opaque and transparent webs, including paper, film, foil and nonwoven materials. All Coast Controls web guides are backed by a 10-year warranty.
