Alcoa Forged Specialty Wheels Launches Pro Series and Adventure Series Wheel Lines at Off-Road Impact

CLEVELAND--Alcoa Forged Specialty Wheels, a Cleveland-based business unit of Alcoa Inc., today announced the expansion of their off-road light truck product line to include the new Pro Series and Adventure Series wheel lines to their existing product catalog of Classics.

Pro Series and Adventure Series offer exciting new wheel designs to the Alcoa product portfolio of wheels forged from one piece of 6061-T6 aluminum. Both Pro Series and Adventure Series are now available for most ½-ton trucks, full size SUVs and Jeeps. Each wheel has been designed, engineered and manufactured to optimize strength, durability and design while lowering wheel weight.

Each style is available in seventeen-inch and twenty-inch sizes with polished clearcoat and chrome finish options. Polished clearcoat is a surface coating that reduces maintenance and increases durability for a lasting surface. Chrome also eases maintenance and provides a premium appearance.

"Pro Series is an exciting new wheel line for Alcoa that reflects an aggressive, competition-influenced appearance while offering unmatched strength and durability for on-road and off-road use," said Brandon Stotsenburg, Marketing Director, Alcoa Forged Specialty Wheels.

Alcoa product development and engineering teams worked closely with Ivan "Ironman" Stewart on the design, development and testing of Pro Series wheels.

"Adventure Series was designed with a contemporary, split-spoke style designed to complement the appearance of today's most popular vehicles. Yet Adventure Series demonstrates all of the strength, durability and light weight benefits only found in Alcoa one piece forged alloy wheels," stated Stotsenburg.

Five and six-spoke design options for Pro Series and Adventure Series are available based on the lug pattern of the OEM vehicle application. Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep fitments reflect a 5-spoke and 5-lug pattern while Chevrolet, GMC, Ford, Lincoln, Nissan and Toyota fitments reflect a 6-spoke and 6-lug pattern.

Alcoa is also supporting the launch of Pro Series and Adventure Series with an integrated marketing and vendor support program including a targeted consumer and trade advertising and communication plan.

Designed, engineered and tested for on-road and off-road use, each Pro Series and Adventure Series wheel delivers as a kit and comes with an Alcoa center cap, lugs and lug key along with a lifetime limited structural warranty on the wheel. A three year warranty will be offered on the chrome finish. See www.alcoawheels.com for full warranty details.
