Alcan Launches Guardlid(TM), a New Child-Resistant Pharmaceutical Packaging Solution


MONTREAL, July 18 -- Alcan Inc. (NYSE, TSX: AL) announced today the launch of GUARDLID(TM), a new aluminium-based medicine packaging providing improved child resistance characteristics. GUARDLID(TM) will assist pharmaceutical companies in their compliance with Child Resistance legislation.
