AMO Plus(TM) - A Control System-Independent Alarm Management Solution
Houston, TX, May 28, 2002 - Plant Automation Services (PAS), Inc. today announced the release of AMO Plus, a comprehensive, control system-independent software solution for alarm management and optimization. AMO Plus provides a systematic method to define, measure, analyze, and improve the alarm system on any control system, and provides a framework to apply an alarm philosophy that reflects industry best practices such as EEMUA 191, and helps meet the requirements of OSHA Process Safety Management Regulation 1910.119.

- Alarm Documentation and Rationalization - Systematic method of establishing alarm priorities, and maintaining detailed alarm system documentation including the cause, consequence, and proper response to each alarm.
