Saddle Brook, NJ: The UN/DOT-certified Unitote intermediate bulk container from container manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD), Saddle Brook, New Jersey, enables flavor and fragrance manufacturers to safely ship natural, nature identical and synthetic flavors as well as mixed flavors and fragrances in large volumes to capture savings in shipping and handling vs. pails, drums and kegs. Ideal for cinnamon oil, floral fragrance, lavender fragrance, lemongrass oil, spearmint oil and other flavors and fragrances subject to increasing regulatory scrutiny in large volumes, the durable Unitote IBC boasts an all-plastic, chemical resistant, polyethylene design that accommodates hazardous materials with specific gravity ratings up to 1.9, exceeding the .80-1.2 ratings typical of flavors and fragrances without bulging.
Rotationally molded of LMDPE, the reusable Unitote IBC features a seamless, one-piece polyethylene container set in a rugged, removable, polyethylene base that accommodates lift trucks on all four sides. A seven-inch top port and two-inch standard poly valve create an airtight seal that protects against product decomposition or oxidation. Available in 275- and 330-gallon capacities, the Unitote IBC stacks two high when filled, three high when empty and drains to less than three ounces. Permanent, molded-in level markings indicate 55-gallon intervals.
