Strategic Distribution Partner makes initial firm commitment for 6,000 units

TORONTO, ONTARIO - February 20, 2008 - AirIQ Inc. (TSX: IQ), a leader in Wireless Location-Based Services, specializing in Telematics and Security, today announced that it has expanded its Consumer offering to service the Mexico market.

"It has always been AirIQ's intent to offer services beyond North America," said Steve Willey, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We have established an excellent relationship for distribution through DEI-Mexico, which will leverage the strength of a very established brand, Viper®GPS."

In the fourth quarter of 2007, AirIQ launched its MobileIQ(TM) consumer offering to distributor channels in North America as an enhanced proposition for dealers, retailers and consumers. (See Press Release dated January 28, 2008: AirIQ Launches Enhanced Offering for Consumers). The addition of the Spanish language provides a foundation to expand into key Latin American markets with a solution that provides customers with a choice between a simple Stolen Vehicle Recovery service or an enhanced, web-based Safety and Security Interactive service. Unlike competing Stolen Vehicle Recovery services that only provide localized coverage, AirIQ's service advantage is based on the use of GPS and GSM technology, thus enabling reliable and affordable national and cross-border coverage.

DEI-Mexico selected AirIQ's Stolen Vehicle Recovery (SVR) and Interactive Services solution to be distributed under the brand name, "Viper®GPS", the leading, after-market, automotive electronics brand in Mexico. "We chose AirIQ's Consumer service because of its strong value proposition in a growing Mexican market for consumer safety and security in automobiles," said Sam Nakach, Director of DEI-Mexico. "The Viper brand is well recognized in the market and we look forward to leveraging its appeal in a long-term relationship with AirIQ to become the leading GPS-based safety and security service in Mexico."
