Airflow/Temperature Test Equipment has multi-channel design.

Press Release Summary:

Cambridge AccuSense(TM) ATM-2400 accepts up to 36 airflow and temperature sensors, which can be used simultaneously. Plug-and-play, USB-based system provides ability to measure air velocity over 3 pre-calibrated ranges from 30-4,000 fpm and air temperature with UAS1000 Series sensors. During test, system can also monitor surface temperature via UTS1000 Series Thermocouples and relative humidity via UHS sensors.

Original Press Release:

Multi-Channel Airflow and Temperature Test Equipment from Degree Controls, Inc.

The release of the Cambridge AccuSense(TM) ATM-2400 Airflow Measurement System has revolutionized airflow testing in virtually every major laboratory environment. The 'Plug & Play' versatility of the USB-based equipment reduces set-up time and generates faster results, so that engineers and technicians can evaluate more thermal scenarios than ever before. The ATM-2400 accepts up to 36 airflow and temperature sensors, which can be used simultaneously.

Whether your chassis is an xTCA architecture or a fully customized telecom/datacom shelf, airflow and temperature should be characterized upfront, allowing you to properly assess thermal risk and validate your cooling hardware. The industry is developing the most thermally dense blades ever, and now even end customers are demanding to see evidence of proper thermal testing before accepting new products into their networks or systems.

The ATM-2400 is also very useful in products where precise and reliable air flow is mission-critical, such as bio-safety containment cabinets, fume hoods and clean room fan-filter markets. These systems can be designed, calibrated and certified using the ATM-2400 Airflow Measurement System.

The ATM-2400 is becoming widely used in room level environments. Data centers are utilizing the airflow sensors to better understand rack and stack deployments, as well as their latest hot aisle, cold aisle architectures.

Military and ruggedized enclosures are also benefitting from the ATM-2400 Airflow Measurement System. This system provides the ability to measure air velocity and air temperature with the UAS1000 Series Sensor, but also to measure surface temperature with the UTS1000 Series Thermocouples. This is highly desirable for those clients who design products with and without forced air cooling.

The UAS Sensors provide simultaneous air velocity and air temperature readings. Three pre-calibrated ranges are available, from 0.15 - 20.0 m/s (30 to 4000 fpm).

The UTS Sensors are available in for use with Types T thermocouples.

The UHS Sensors allow you to monitor Relative Humidity during your test.

Where airflow is mission critical, Cambridge AccuSense(TM) products ensure safe and reliable operation.
