Degree Controls Announces Miniaturization of Airflow Sensing Head for Instruments

August 14, 2008

Degree Controls, Inc, a leading provider of airflow instruments and integrated thermal management solutions, is pleased to announce the release of its Cambridge AccuSense PointFlow, the first micro head airflow/ air temperature measurement instrument.

This unique instrument has a miniature (.5mm) omni-directional sensor head remotely located on a 2 meter cable, a digital display showing airflow in either feet per minute or meters per second, and the ability to download readings through either serial or analog output. The micro head causes virtually no distortion of the airflow
making it ideal for measuring low airflow in tight spaces such as those found in small electronic devices.

The PointFlow uses a patented pulse technology to provide both airflow and temperature measurement virtually simultaneously.

The Cambridge AccuSense advanced airflow instrument line from DegreeC includes airflow testing and sensing instruments as well as embedded sensors for thermal and airflow management. Degree Controls, Inc. specializes in sensing, engineering and managing airflow through a variety of integrated thermal management solutions.
