Air Velocity Transmitters are virtually immune to drift.

Press Release Summary:

Offering 8% accuracy, Series AVUB operates by measuring heat loss from sensing element in air-stream and calculating air velocity by reading local temperature of air on probe. Models are available in 3 ranges of 0-785 fpm, 0-1,575 fpm, and 0-3,150 fpm with 0-10 Vdc output. Offering 10 sec response time, Series AVUB is suited for wide range of HVAC measurement and control applications, particularly in complete building control and energy management systems.

Original Press Release:

New AVUB Air Velocity Transmitter

Dwyer Instruments, Inc., the preferred source for your complete range of practical and affordable instrumentation, is announcing the release of its NEW AVUB AIR VELOCITY TRANSMITTER.

Our popular AVU Series Transmitter is now available in an even more competitively priced package with the new AVUB Series Air Velocity Transmitter. The Series AVUB Transmitter operates by measuring the heat loss from its sensing element in the air-stream and calculating the air velocity by reading the local temperature of the air on its probe. Units are virtually immune to drift due to the design of the sensing element, which makes the transmitter accurate over the entire air velocity range. The Series AVUB offers 8% accuracy at a surprisingly low cost. Models are available in three ranges of 0 to 785 fpm (0 to 4 m/s), 0 to 1575 fpm (0 to 8 m/s), and 0 to 3150 fpm (16 m/s) with a 0 to 10 VDC output. The Series AVUB is ideal for a wide range of HVAC measurement and control applications, particularly in complete building control and energy management systems.
