Thermal Dynamics® Makes 1Torch(TM) Standard On Pakmaster® XL Plus Series Air Plasma Cutting Systems

St. Louis - August 24, 2004 - Thermal Dynamics® advances cutting technology with the addition of the 1Torch(TM) as standard equipment with each of its PakMaster® XL PLUS Series air plasma cutting systems.

The PakMaster XL PLUS Series includes the 50XLP, 75XLP and 100XLP machines with respective output currents of from 15-40 Amps, 15-60 Amps and 15-80 Amps. Genuine cut capacity for the three machines are 50XLP - ½" (12mm); 75XLP - ¾" (20mm); and 100XLP - 1" (25mm). While the PakMaster 50XL PLUS machine has lighter fabrication, construction and maintenance/repair application capabilities, the 75XLP and 100XLP machines are respectively geared for medium-heavy and heavy fabrication, plus manufacturing applications.

Thermal Dynamics' revolutionary 1Torch plasma torch features the patent pending ATC(TM) (Advanced Torch Connector) quick disconnect that adapts to more than 150 other plasma systems in just a few seconds. This torch offers more advantages than any other plasma torch in the industry. Advanced ergonomic design provides superior comfort. A unique Surelok® electrode, start cartridge and tip combination maximizes parts life and cut performance.
