Energy-saving Design Uses Less Compressed Air
ITW Vortec has introduced a line of air amplifying nozzles that are backed by a lifetime warranty.
The DuraBlast(TM) Lifetime nozzles are adjustable-thrust, fully cleanable air nozzles that will never need replacing because of clogging. The nozzle design forces compressed air through an adjustable gap that accelerates airflows, entraining surrounding air as it exits the nozzle. Airflow volumes from the nozzles are up to 25 times more than the input air supplied, allowing lower compressed air usage to achieve the same thrust. The OSHA compliant, DuraBlast nozzles are offered in aluminum or stainless steel, with positionable flex hose or copper tube mountings available. A single set screw allows easy cleaning and micrometer-style adjustment of thrust for any blow-off cleaning, cooling or drying application.
