Air Nozzle produces force of 4 nozzles.

Press Release Summary:

Featuring aerodynamic design that directs air to single point of convergence, ½ NPT Super Air Nozzle(TM) delivers 3.3 lb of blowing force when mounted 12 in. away from target. Compressed air is ejected through holes located in recessed grooves on nozzle surface, assuring safe operation since airflow cannot be blocked as required by OSHA standard 1910.242(b). Made of zinc aluminum alloy, nozzle consumes 60 scfm at 80 psig and is suited for industrial applications.

Original Press Release:

1/2 NPT Super Air Nozzle Has The Force of Four Nozzles

EXAIR's new 1/2 NPT Super Air Nozzle(TM) delivers 3.3 pounds of strong blowing force when mounted 12" away from the target. The force is more than four times that of ordinary air nozzles, making it ideal for blowing heavy materials or for applications where the air nozzle can't be mounted close to the surface to be blown off, dried or cooled.

The aerodynamic design of the 1/2 NPT Super Air Nozzle directs the air to a single point of convergence, delivering a concentrated stream of high velocity airflow with hard hitting force measured in pounds, not ounces. The compressed air is ejected through a series of holes located in recessed grooves on the nozzle surface. This assures safe operation since the airflow that exits the nozzle can not be blocked, as required by OSHA standard 1910.242(b). At 80 PSIG, the air consumption is 60 SCFM. The sound level of 87 dBA is below the limits of the OSHA maximum allowable noise exposure standard 29 CFR 1910.95(a).

The zinc aluminum alloy construction makes the 1/2 NPT Super Air Nozzle suitable for rugged industrial applications. A 1" (25mm) hex body is provided for easy installation using a standard wrench or socket. Applications include part drying, machinery and parts cleaning, chip removal, part ejection, liquid blowoff, and cooling hot parts. Price is $59.
