Henkel Loctite Introduces Air Filtration Equipment

Rocky Hill, Conn. - October 15, 2003.... Henkel Loctite Corporation has introduced a new line of Loctite® Air Filtration Systems designed to remove dust particulate and fumes emitted by adhesives, sealants, cleaning solvents, and other chemicals. Both the freestanding units and compact benchtop systems operate quietly and offer high airflow rates.

Loctite® Benchtop Air Filtration Systems offer flexible operation in small spaces and match the airflow of many larger systems. Two compact benchtop units, 98277 with arm and 98278 without arm, can be operated as an open plenum for a working area up to 12-inches wide. The 2 x 24-inch flexible arm system allows for more direct fume capture, and may be positioned to be unobtrusive to the operator, yet provide effective filtration. Units feature a bi-colored LED light to indicate blocked filters, and are equipped with a deep bed activated carbon fume filter. HEPA/carbon filters are available separately. Units are UL, CSA and CE compliant.

Compact enough to fit beneath a workbench, Loctite® Freestanding Air Filtration Systems offer location flexibility at significantly lower costs than fixed systems. These systems are available in three different versions: a 115V, 60 Hz model (98274); a 230V, 50 Hz model (98275); and an explosion-proof model (98276) for extracting flammable gasses. Each unit features a large 14 x 18-inch filter to reduce the frequency of filter replacement, and a differential pressure gauge that allows the operator to monitor filter status. The systems can be used with up to four exhaust arms or two exhaust cabinets, and feature multi-stage filtration. All units are equipped with a deep bed, 20 lbs., activated carbon fume filter. A HEPA filter is available separately.
