UAF's New Perf Panel Air Filters for Medical Applications Improve Air Flow, Save Money

Specify "peace of mind" when you select the new Perf Panel Air Filters from Universal Air Filter (www.uaf.com) for medical applications such as blood analysis, ultrasound, CT and PET scanners, MRI, X-ray, and many other types of electronic instruments. The uniquely designed hex-pattern panel provides a strong, one-piece, low-cost, media support. UAF's Perf Panel Air Filters allow for up to 85% open area, maximizing airflow and extending the life of vital electronics components.

Low-cost, UAF Perf Panels consist of a single, integrated assembly - creating a sturdy, decorative or functional vent panel support frame and captive filter media with combined thickness of media and frame as thin as 1/4" for limited space applications. Filters may be configured to include EMI shielding honeycomb, conductive gaskets, special metal finishes, tabs, handles, holes, flanges, spring clips, and other accessories to promote equipment compliance and ease installation.

Besides lower cost and greater air flow, UAF's Perf Panel Air Filters meet stringent safety and reliability requirements, including UL 94 flame safety, CE compliance and UL 900 Class 2 rated air filter assembly.

Filters are available in a variety of black, gray or green Quadrafoam filter media, an open cell polyurethane foam rated UL 94 HF-1. Quadrafoam features low air resistance, deep loading, and increased dust holding capacity in a cleanable, reusable media.

A free, round-the-clock prototype service is available to design engineers worldwide at www.uaf.com.
