Universal Laser Systems Announces Revolutionary 300-Watt and 150-Watt Air-Cooled CO2 Lasers

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - (June 6, 2003) Universal Laser Systems, Inc. announced the introduction of the industry's first 300-watt and 150-watt air-cooled CO2 lasers. The new units have built-in RF supplies, integrated cooling and provide good beam quality in both the near and far fields. The high power air-cooled CO2 lasers offer efficient integration options for manufacturers. With the addition of the new 300- and 150-watt lasers, Universal Laser Systems now offers a complete family of air-cooled CO2 lasers that range from 25-watt to 300-watt.

"Companies will be able to not only save money on components and integration time, but also better utilize valuable manufacturing space with the efficient design of these new high-power, air-cooled units," notes Gary Higman, OEM Sales Manager at Universal Laser Systems, Inc. "The new lasers will also have a water cooled option available for companies that prefer traditional water-cooled units."

Universal Laser Systems backs their CO2 lasers with a standard 15-month warranty. In addition, they offer engineering assistance to help customers with integration into OEM equipment.
