Greenheck Offers Air Measuring Control Damper
The IAQ-42 from Greenheck is an aluminum airfoil blade damper that utilizes patented Speciflow(TM) technology with integral airflow monitoring and control capability. This air measuring control damper has a rated accuracy of 5% of reading for face velocities of 300-2000 fpm (1.5-10 m/s), and utilizes a Lon-based programmable controller. The IAQ-42 helps buildings meet the minimum outdoor air requirements of ASHRAE Standard 62 and California Title 24 by providing accurate monitoring and control of outside air. The IAQ-42 enables a LEED-EB credit for Outdoor Air Delivering Monitoring and another LEED-EB credit for Increased Ventilation. Its is also International Energy Consumption Code (IECC) compliant with a leakage rating of 3 cfm/ft2 @ 1 in. wg (55 cmh/m2 @ 249 Pa) or less.
