AIN Plastics Named Exclusive Distributor for Trelleborg Emerson & Cuming Syntac® Thermoform Tooling Products
MANSFIELD, Mass., January 8, 2008 - Trelleborg Emerson & Cuming, Inc. has appointed ThyssenKrupp Materials NA AIN Plastics Division, Madison Heights, MI, as exclusive distributor for its Syntac® and Eccolite® Ultra lines of machinable and castable syntactic foams for thermoform tooling. The high-performance Trelleborg family of materials now being handled by AIN Plastics comprises blocks, sheets and rods as well as a castable system. The products support the rapid production of dimensionally stable thermoforming molds and plug assists used in the production of blister and clamshell packaging, medical trays, cups and plates, and automotive components.

Supplementing AIN Plastics' strong presence in the thermoforming market is that of sister division Copper and Brass Sales which is one of the largest U.S. distributors of aluminum plate for milling thermoforming molds.
