Shakopee, Minnesota: Rubber Industries Model 601 Bench Top Aging Oven is a versatile, compact and easy-to-use system for testing the liquid aging of elastomer compounds of most seals, gaskets, O-Rings and similar components.

The system is designed for testing component swell and aging characteristics of molded rubber and rubber-like material formulations in various fluids such as engine coolant, oil, water, etc. at temperatures from 100° to 200° C.

The RI Model 601 has six testing stations for simultaneous testing of parts under pre-programmed time/temperature conditions. A digital PIC temperature controller maintains preset constant temperature without drifting above or below the set point. Each station operates independently so there is no cross-contamination potential between test stations.

System features six special test tubes 38 mm diameter and 300 mm length that insert vertically into the top of six programmable heating cavity stations. A block heater controls temperature for each of the test station cavities. A preset high-limit switch shuts off power if overheating occurs.

Designed to meet ASTM D471 for liquid aging, the RI Model 601 is the ideal testing device for custom rubber molders and product manufacturers requiring ongoing performance testing of rubber components.

The system operates on either 110 or 220 VAC power. Overall dimensions are 11 x 11 x 15 inches ( 30 x 30 x 38 cm ).
