The new Burndy Aerial Wedge Splice features significant design, energy, and labor saving improvements over conventional tubular connector methods.
QIKSLEEVE has a range taking open design feature that replaces several conventional designs. The open design allows visual inspection and ease of installation. The anti-reverse clip assists in the initial installation of the connector and visual indicator also ensures verification of installation. QIKSLEEVE's all aluminum open style does not trap water and eliminates corrosion issues due to dissimilar metals.
The overall construction provides flexible, rapid and long life dependable performance. QIKSLEEVE has 30% less resistance than conventional designs and has less than a 3 year payback in kw savings. It reduces warehouse and line truck inventory when used in place of tubular automatics.
