Innovative Aeration and Mixing System
A new concept in mixing and simultaneous aeration of all types of liquids has been introduced by ITT Flygt Corp., Trumbull, CT. Designated as FloGet, the system has proven its reliability, efficiency and versatility in thousands of applications ranging from municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, liquid manure, and fish farming equalization tanks.
Flow-Jet systems incorporate a Flygt submersible pump, an air suction tube, and an ejector/diffuser nozzle. The system is extremely versatile since one or more Flygt submersible pumps can be used with one or more ejectors. Pumps of different power and hydraulic performance can be connected to ejectors of different flow capacities to meet most system requirements.
The FloGet is suitable for any type of tank regardless of its size, shape or depth. Using different ejectors, the FloGet can perform different tasks, including oxygenation, CO2 neutralization, sludge recycling, ozone treatment, mixing, foam suppression, and homogenization (mixing). Installation is easy and requires no major modifications to existing structures.
The combined aeration and mixing of the FloGet system ensures a high efficiency operation throughout the tank without any dead spots. When used in conjunction with mixers, FloGet aerators provide even higher oxygen transfer (as much as 50%) and ensure complete mixing without settling or triggering any anaerobic activity.
