Aegis iLaunch Software Optimizes Sigma Technologies' NPI Process
Horsham, PA, January 2012 - Sao Paulo-based Sigma Technologies specializes in advanced technology services for Brazil's leading OEM and EMS electronics manufacturing companies. Sigma recently purchased iLaunch software from Aegis after identifying that their NPI process would greatly benefit from improved speed, accuracy and control. Its single environment supports instruction sequences for system and mechanical assemblies as well as graphical visual aids for circuit card assembly. Product and version control is maintained, data integrity is verified and discrepancies are corrected before reaching production. Operators benefit from rapid, flexible generation of paper-based and paperless documentation and visual aids, and receive change notices, process deviations and quality alerts in real time.
Sigma's key commercial and personal electronics customers include Ericsson, Positivo and LG.
